September in Forest Park...

Nothings says “Hello, Heaven”...
...like a dreamy 70 degree September day in Forest Park!  This was the perfect day to pencil in some down time to lunch at The Boathouse and get our 10K steps enjoying the heart of the city at it's best. 🍂😍

Just For Fun: Au revoir Summer 2014... it was swell.

 Well, it is official...

...the boys are back in school, preempting the formal farewell to Summer 2014.  What can I say?  Bittersweet, as Summer 2014 was lovely.  The weather was incredibly mild, my business was swift, and the time spent with my family was priceless.

Here is a teeny tiny peek at Summer 2014 in Casa de Nenonen, as we head into my favorite season in St. Louis...

The middle of August is traditionally super busy for parents.  In the meantime, emotion has been high here in St. Louis over the last week as the world watches.  As we round the corner into Autumn and as the "normal" school year schedules resume, I wish each of you a touch of calm and peace.

Thanks for the fun, Summer 2014!

The perfect afternoon escape?

A late lunch and catch-up with a friend at the Boathouse in Forest Park.  If it has been awhile since your last visit, it is time friends!  Everything is in bloom- just lovely.  Whether for a mid-ride snack, brunch, cocktails, or paddle boats... the Nenonens love it.

The perfect afternoon with my hubby...

The best way to explore Forest Park is, BY FAR, on bike...
There is no other way to see all of the gorgeous nooks and crannies?! After hitting the trails, we enjoyed some time at one of favorite park amenities, The Boathouse...Me: their homemade basil hummus...Steve: their Greek salad...Beggar =)...We rode a total of 11 miles per my bike odometer, but it didn't feel like it. The perfect afternoon.
