To my wonderful Sellers and the fabulous team of people around them: A sincere thank you for your trust, support, and friendship! It made all of the difference, resulting in a fast sale and smooth closing. Terrific day!🍾🏡
In St. Louis and contemplating a move? The market is still groovin'. Let's connect!
When you are headed to your scheduled Open House, turn around, and end up negotiating a contract instead...
Swan Circle sold to the very 1st Buyer who walked through the door and closes escrow next month. Yippee for my awesome Sellers and these lucky Buyers- great day in St. Louis real estate! 🍾🏡🎉

Locals- has anyone visited #6632 Bancroft Ave. in South City during the month of October? Imagine being 8 years old again and walking up to this house to trick-or-treat...
YIKES!
Their incredibly impressive (and terrifying) Halloween light show is viral on YouTube. This is last year's show. Apparently, the lights run nightly during Halloween week and the Homeowner has yet to post what 2016 has in store. NOTE: The house is a stone's throw from Ted Drewes, so celebrate the scare with a pumpkin concrete. The perfect October evening with the family, right?
If interested, see the Homeowner's past displays HERE.
The ocean called and I managed to sneak away to the Gulf of Mexico last week for a couple of days of fun in the sun on the tranquil beaches of Clearwater, Florida.
The weekend is almost upon us and check out this forecast, St. Louis...
If still making plans for the weekend, here are a few of the more notable happenings!
Sauce Food Truck Friday
Tower Grove Park
Fri, May 13 at 4:00 pm
The 6th annual Sauce Food Truck Friday series in Tower Grove Park has begun! More than 20 trucks attend every second Friday of the month - May through October - for one of the best outdoor food events in St. Louis!
2016 Spirit of St. Louis Airshow presented by Boeing
May 14 – 15 from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Watch and enjoy many amazing pilots including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Canadian Snowbirds including the CF-18 Hornet flight demonstration. Watch them perform some of their amazing flight maneuvers in an exciting aerial ballet across the sky. The event’s popular STEM Expo, presented by MasterCard, highlights the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) initiatives of academic, business and not-for profit institutions in the St. Louis area and inspires youth to pursue these important areas.
15th Annual Art on the Square in Downtown Belleville
May 13-15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Every spring, Art on the Square transforms downtown Belleville into an alfresco gallery, with 105 juried artists from all over the world. There’s also food, music, and a children’s art garden.
... and we enjoyed all of the goodies that Memphis is famous for, including the Duck March at the Peabody...
That all being said, NO trip to Memphis is complete without a visit to...
Simpy, you have to do it at least once in your life. While I had previously visited the Graceland Estate, Steve had never been so a tour was in order. The Colonial Revival mansion is over 17,000 square feet of perfectly-preserved Elvis Presley eccentricities. There are truly no words to describe the Graceland time-capsule.
A peek at our visit...
If seeking a fun weekend getaway from St. Louis, Memphis is a GREAT option. Just 4 hours on I-55 South, the city overflows with history, music, food, and fun!
Last night we strolled though the Missouri Botanical Garden, magically illuminated by a half million twinkling lights for the Garden Glow. I will say St. Louis, while it is incredibly crowded, the display is just as visually spectacular as you can imagine! If you have not yet done so, bundle up your family and enjoy the fun. The display runs through January 3rd. Find more information HERE. Here is a peek at our visit. NOTE: my shoddy mobile uploads do NOT do the display justice!
A quick run by Ted Drewes was in order after the holiday fun, of course =)...
