What's up with this weather? Not the top on my convertible!
While one would expect to see this in February in St. Louis...
One would NOT expect to see this...
*sigh*
I was sad to witness in my own flower bed this AM, that the recent unseasonably warm temperatures have seriously confused Mother Nature.
While I eagerly accept a Winter pick-me-up any day of the week...
... I hope not to see my own daffodils in bloom for months. If not, the Spring forecast calls for an ugly garden, devoid of Spring perennial blooms =(. (wacky weather)

Stock up on the canned goods, people...
A tornado on New Year's Eve in St. Louis...
Talk about ringing in 2011 with a bang?!
Umm, yeah.
I will not even begin to touch upon the frightening climate changes that would lead to such a bizarre and unusual event. Period. That is an entirely different post. Actually an entirely different blog all together?! Regardless, yes we in St. Louis were blessed with an unseasonable tornado on New Year's Eve. Actually, several of them were spotted across the St. Louis region.
Unfortunately, the Nenonen Family's personal zip code was one of the unlucky ones that was visited by one of the numerous rotations spotted around the Metro area. Here is the damage that occurred in my neighborhood as we all hunkered down in our West County basement...
We got SUPER lucky... just a little mess!
