CLOSED: 14362 Spyglass in Chesterfield

Happy day, hello Friday...
Gorgeous Spyglass closed escrow today and the fabulous N duo gets to call Florida their permanent new residence! I assist a lot of people in cross-country relocations, both in and out of St. Louis, but rarely do I have the pleasure of seeing where they go.

Well, the sweet N Family allowed us to stay at their Florida vacation home a couple of years ago, now their primary residence, and this was a day-in-the-life...





*sigh* 

I fully subscribe to the notion of sky above, sand below, peace within... and their final destination is beyond dreamy. 🌴👙🌞

D and T- thank you so much for your trust, faith, and diligence.  I appreciate you both so-very-much and I wish you a lovely retirement down South complete with sandy toes, balmy sea breezes, sun-kissed skin, and margarita toasts.  Congratulations and thank you, friends.

NOTE: Not all bulbs should be planted in the fall. Dahlias and gladiolus should be planted in the spring, for instance, so do your homework.

Closed: #8129 Stanford Avenue in University City

When you sell the home that you have enjoyed and raised your family in for over 30 years, it is really like leaving behind a good friend.  As my boys grow older, I've become a lot more cognizant of the fact that eventually Steve and I will be back to two in this house and will have to decide if all of the large family amenities are still necessary.

#8129 Stanford closed today, and these clients have really become family to me over the years as we have contemplated, strategized, and waited for the right time for this downsize.  This big beautiful University City home served them well for over 3 decades and will hopefully go on to create beautiful family memories for the new Buyers.

To the entire K family- here's hoping that the next chapter is as fun-filled as the last.  Thank you, thank you for allowing me to help you in this big transition and I look forward to seeing what the future in your new house holds!  I won't say "keep in touch" as you aren't getting rid of me any time soon. ;-)  Ha ha.  Congratulations!

My, what a busy closing week it has been!  Spring market fun.

This adorable 1940 bungalow in Maplewood was passed along to a super lucky buyer this morning.  This one hits close to home for me, as I was friends with this Seller long before I became her real estate agent and sold her this cutie a few years ago.  

Ms. R- what can I say?  I will miss you!  It has been super fun being a part of your St. Louis journey and getting to know your incredible parents and friends, to boot.  There is something special about selling someone a house to turn around and resell it a few years later as life has changed.  Thank you for allowing me to be the caretaker of this one as you forged ahead on your new desert adventure. Even though I now watch from afar - thank goodness for Facebook- I cannot WAIT to see what is next for you.
