My clients come to me from a variety of places, but there is nothing more fun or heartwarming than to represent someone who is a childhood connection.  Mr. Buyer was a Henderson house regular as one of my brother's best friends.  To have the opportunity to befriend his amazing wife and meet their adorable children has been SUCH a treat!  Particularly as with 2 boys close in age, their life is a mirror image of mine... we are just a little further along.  To witness those boys eagerly attack the backyard playground with enthusiasm was truly the "YOU HAVE FOUND THE ONE" moment on this transaction. This morning as I sipped my coffee and tied up the loose ends on this one, I did a brief reflection of 2020 thus far, at least as far as my business goes.  This Spring has been a challenge for everyone in life and profession and finances.  However, I have had the opportunity to work with the kindest and most gracious folks this year. After 19 years in this business, I recognize a distinct ebb and flow.  Deals vary from smooth to difficult, clients vary from accommodating to more challenging.  They truly do balance one another, keep me on my toes at all times.  Spring of 2020, however, has gifted me with THE most lovely people and I am incredibly grateful.

My time spent outside of my house is limited like everyone else due to COVID-19.  My 2020 clients, thus far, have made that time incredibly pleasurable and for that... wow, I am lucky.

The B duo are wonderful, plain and simple.  Their family is amazing and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to help them in their exciting downsize.  Thank you and CONGRATULATIONS, sweet J and M.

At the time, 2824 Essex was cute, clean, move-in ready, and the ideal place to start a family and a life together!  Today, just 7 years later and after very few renovations done, we closed it for a whopping $180,000.  That, my friends, is the power of a smart starter home purchase combined with careful preparation and diligent sale strategy. That is also what I mean by making real estate work for you by building an equity nest egg. YES.  

I am not going to lie, today was incredibly bittersweet for me.  Due to COVID19, my Sellers closed escrow electronically and I obviously was not able to attend. *sigh* Selfishly, closing  is always my favorite day of a transaction so it was a tough pill to swallow, but safety is imperative.

It has been a hustle and bustle kind of week, as both Arbor Creek and Eichelberger closed escrow...

Arbor Creek was a repeat client/friend of mine.  Eichelberger was a direct referral from my sweet former client/friend, "B".  

Both Sellers were incredible to work with, both homes were meticulously prepared, and as a result... BOTH properties made a solid profit and sold in the 1st weekend on the market with multiple contracts.  YES. Spring/Summer 2019 has been an INCREDIBLE listing market for Homeowners, particularly those who were thoughtful and strategic with their sale!

While I have profound appreciation for every ounce of my business, every person who graciously puts their trust in me to manage their move, there is something special about repeat clients and referrals. They have truly become the backbone of my real estate business over the past 18 years.

I have always stuck to the premise that no one can speak for the integrity of a real estate agent like their clients. Period.
