Rule of Real Estate: Envision a Property's Potential

Local housing inventory remains low, yet St. Louis values have creeped up, leaving Buyers in certain area markets frustrated.  I always tell my Buyers that if you can't afford your "dream home" quite yet,  envision a property's potential.  This homeowner, originally featured in Elle Décor ,sure did!

BEFORE...

AFTER...

The homeowner visually lifted this bathroom out of its doom and gloom existence, by bringing in crisp, light elements and lovely custom woodwork include board & batten.

The Homeowner, originally featured in Elle Décor, wrote ...

"When we moved into our home, we knew the Powder Room was high on the priority list of renovations, since it is the only bathroom on our first floor. We knew we wanted something light and bright, which was very far away from the dark room we started with! We inherited the rust colored paint (with a gold shimmer swirl treatment) from the previous homeowners. So I painted over the rust/gold swirl paint with primer and Benjamin Moore's Wickham Gray."

Bravo!  Phenomenal and inspirational transformation of the space. This makeover is one that the homeowner can enjoy AND one that will add significant value and marketability to the property.
